Owen Morse-Brown studied recorder at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama under Pamela Thorby after completing his degree at Bath Spa University College. He lives in Wiltshire, and splits his time between regular performances as a soloist, with Bradford Baroque Band, Sociall Musick, and teaching at The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and Bath Spa University College. He is a maker of early stringed instruments with a particular interest in medieval fiddles (see www.owenmorse-brown.com). He studied classical guitar and lute with Robert Brightmore and David Miller. Arngeir won the Portalion solo guitar prize in 1998, and the Portalion Guitar Chamber music Prize in 1997 and 1998. He now divides his time between playing Medieval and Renaissance music with the award winning ensemble Concanentes, The New London Consort, Ensemble Dumont, Sociall Musick and playing continuo in numerous operas and ensembles on the theorbo and baroque guitar as well as giving recitals on the classical guitar. arngeir@sociallmusick.com Patxi del Amo Patxi was born in Pamplona (Spain) and studied with Alison Crum, Jenny Ward-Clarke, and in the masterclasses of Jordi Savall. He has performed in festivals throughout Europe both as a recitalist and with specialist ensembles such as Passemezzo, The New London Consort, Sweelinck Ensemble and Sociall Musick. He has recorded for BBC Radio 3 and his discography includes a CD of 18th century chamber music for ASV-Gaudeamus. Patxi teaches at the DaCapo Foundation in London and is visiting professor of baroque cello and viola da gamba at the Joaquín Maya School of Music in Spain. patxi@sociallmusick.com
